We are the only Agriturismo in Italy that offers special services for travelers with dogs. We provide dog sitting and dog training. After a few spins around the obstacle course your dog can take a dip in the pond.

After twenty years of training dogs in America, BREON O'FARRELL, author of the book "Philosophy Dog. The art of living with man's best friend" in New York City-USA, has brought his gentle and effective methods of training to Italy .

DOG SITTING
The single most attractive service we offer travelers with dogs is our ‘Dog Sitting' during the hours you are out touring the remarkable medieval and ancient attractions of the area. You will never be turned away from a church, restaurant, museum or shop because the dog isn't welcome. You will not have to split up with your partner, one of you staying outside with the dog on a leash, while the other visits the treasures of the Etruscans.

We know what a joy it is to have our dogs with us, but we also know that touring with them can be stressful. You will have the best of both worlds. Your dogs will be at “Il Cucciolo” in your care when you are here, and when you are off touring we will take great care of them for you. When you return from the days excursion you will find your dogs well exercised, well fed, well trained and happy. This is a much better arrangement than paying a fortune to leave the dogs behind at a kennel of some sort in your home country.

Our Dog Sitting includes one supervised play session with other dogs in A.M. (if appropriate). An exercise period with ball and human throwing it (after lunch). A third exercise period swimming in the pond (weather permitting) (in late afternoon). Rest and private time are also provided in their private ex-pen. Brush outs after pond swim.

When you are not out touring, you will provide for all of your dog's needs, and you are welcome to use the fenced in area when you wish at no cost.

DOG SITTING COST: 20 EURO/DAY. No more than you would pay for kenneling your dog and leaving it behind in a much less desirable situation. We offer a fifteen percent discount for stays of fourteen or more days.

DOG TRAINING
Dog Training at “Il Cucciolo” is supervised by Breon O'Farrell. After twenty years of training dogs in the Big Apple, Breon is now having all kinds of new and interesting experiences. He is training Truffle dogs (and finding truffles).

Your dogs can be taught any level of obedience including brushing up on old tricks. You can have problem behaviors resolved, puppies house trained, agility training and suspicion training.

DOG TRAINING COST : 40 euros an hour.

WEEKEND INTENSIVE
For folks who can manage it we have The Weekend Intensive Training. This is usually designed for people with new puppies who want a good overview for how to communicate with the pup, and of course housetraining. We also focus The Weekend Intensive on resolving Behavioral Problems of every sort.

Our Guests arrive any time after 5:00 P.M. on Friday and depart on Sunday night before 9:00 P.M. On Friday night we have a “get to know you” dinner together and we serve a simple breakfast each morning. On Saturday and Sunday we do four hours of dog training (total of eight hours) two hours in the morning and two in the afternoon. You will also receive an additional hour of supervised practice each day (total of two hours). In all, the week end includes an apartment, one dinner, two breakfasts, and ten hours of instruction, all for only

It is the best deal on the continent because you can also do a bit of touring and have your lunch and dinner in one of the nearby medieval towns, and we will care for the dog while you are out.

If there is a need or desire to add a day on to the package then it is charged at the daily rate of the apartment in which you are staying.
